Greetings!
I believe with all of my being that each one of us was born with unique talents and gifts and that our dreams (spoken and unspoken) were put in our hearts and minds for a reason. The challenges we are experiencing in our communities, schools, homes and across the globe are manifestations of a deficit of human spirit and creativity. Young people have the power to change this world yet they are not always nurtured or supported in a way that allows their genius to rise to the surface. Our elders possess knowledge and insights that can help guide us in our efforts to affect change. Unfortunately they are often marginalized – their wisdom left untapped. Community-based organizations grappling with the root causes of the social, political and economic obstacles that block the true empowerment of those often struggle to gain the resources needed to maximize the chances of their success.
My intention is to be of service to those who are working to bring about substantive and long-lasting change in our communities. It is a calling on my life to which I respond with enthusiasm and gratitude. I welcome the opportunity to serve you.
